This is a Veggie Tales Christmas Character that will be featured in my special “Veggie Christmas” picture… this is just a preview of one of the characters.
I always enjoy drawing these types of pictures. It really makes me feel good to have accomplished something like making these characters look so real…I hope enjoy them as much as I enjoyed drawing them. If you are not familiar with the show “Veggietales” than you need to watch the video below… in this video you will see some of the characters in my drawing (although I tweaked them a bit). I just hope one day I will learn to animate drawings like the talented people making this show and many other animators who have made such great movies for us to enjoy.
This is one of my favorites of the Veggietales creations and am so glad I got the opportunity and talent from God to enable me to draw such great drawings…
(I will be posting the full Veggietales Christmas Picture in a couple of days hopefully)
Today I was just sitting at my drawing desk experimenting and I came up with a little something that I thought was cool! It kind of represents life being drawn out which is the title of my blog. It also represents some times in life when you don’t know what to do and your life is just going in to many directions at one time. Although this can all change if you follow Jesus; he will make your path straight and will make your life brand new! Below is the picture I drew.
To draw this picture I just used a prismacolor permanent marker. This only took me about 30 minutes to do. It’s kind of fun looking and I thought I would share it with all of you. So I hope you enjoy it! God Bless You!
My picture of this lion I drew reminds me of one of Gods name (LION OF JUDAH). It represents him as a king, strong leader, powerful and majestic. I tried to demonstrate this by drawing this lion. One of my most favorite things to draw is animals so this went perfect. Recently I have tried to draw pictures about God and Jesus. I also try to draw very historic pictures.
This lion has some very distinct patterns in his face. He is laying on a rock and looking faraway to a moving object on a mountain. His hair was one of the hardest parts to draw but I eventually got it right.
This is a picture I drew when I was eight. This picture I drew in art class. As you can see it is a picture of a cross on a hill. I like this picture a lot because it makes me think of Jesus dying on the cross. This is one of my favorite drawings I did when I was young.
For the sun’s rays, I used a kneaded eraser to get the right effect. The sun shining greatly affected the picture and made it look realistic. Today I still use that method to create my sun rays. I am glad that I went to that art class.
