This week’s doodle is a little something I whipped up with my markers one day. These words are definitely antonyms! In fact they contrast so much that they should not be together; but I drew them together anyway. Here is the doodle:
The markers gave the affect that the words describe. For “Hot” I drew orange letters with red heat drops falling and for “Cold” I drew blue letters with ice on top. Which word do you like better? Please comment and let me know!
A Taste of Paris?; not literally…but it is a main landmark of Paris, France. Can you guess what it is? If you guessed the Eiffel Tower then you are correct! A couple of days ago I was wondering what I should draw and an idea popped into my head. Why not draw a tall building structure? So I made up my mind; I was going to draw the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is a very detailed and complex building. With much shading and a lot of time I finally got an effect that I liked. I used my lightest pencil (HB) all the way down to my darkest pencil (6B). When I finally completed this my hand was burning! It definitely took time to do; or at least it seemed so because I did it all in one day.
As you can see the picture is drawn at a slight bottom-view angle. This effect gives the illusion that you are underneath the Tower and looking upward to the top. The Eiffel Tower also has some great history so you should read about it online. Check out this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eiffel_Tower
A comment that takes 10 seconds to write could brighten my day! Please take the time to comment and give me your thoughts about it.
Recently I thought of an awesome art project I could do and now I finally completed it…hope you like it! (and I did draw every single one)
OK, so what was the project? It was my goal to draw some of my favorite Logos from many various brands.
The first one is Moe’s! Who doesn’t like a good Mexican-style meal every once in a while?
Yes, the next one is mountain dew! It is probably my favorite soda and logo…
The next one is Gatorade! It is a great drink to quench your thirst…after all isn’t that their slogan?
And the last one is Pepsi; another great soda! I love the logo as well…
I hope you like the logos I drew. Hopefully there will be more later. Please comment and tell me which one you like best and please tell why.
This week’s doodle is a very pretty one; well… that is my opinion.
One day I was just messing around with my markers and came up with a little something. I hope you like it 🙂
The mixture of the vibrant colors is the thing that really sets off the spark. When drawing pictures (doodles) like these it is not necessary to be perfect and precise. As you can see some of the colors are overlapping each other; which is perfectly OK. Remember there is not a certain way of drawing something…everyone has their OWN taste. Just because I drew the rainbow one way doesn’t mean you have to. Just be creative…go with what is best.
This is a Veggie Tales Christmas Character that will be featured in my special “Veggie Christmas” picture… this is just a preview of one of the characters.
I always enjoy drawing these types of pictures. It really makes me feel good to have accomplished something like making these characters look so real…I hope enjoy them as much as I enjoyed drawing them. If you are not familiar with the show “Veggietales” than you need to watch the video below… in this video you will see some of the characters in my drawing (although I tweaked them a bit). I just hope one day I will learn to animate drawings like the talented people making this show and many other animators who have made such great movies for us to enjoy.
This is one of my favorites of the Veggietales creations and am so glad I got the opportunity and talent from God to enable me to draw such great drawings…
(I will be posting the full Veggietales Christmas Picture in a couple of days hopefully)
